SCOTT BACKS MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT SCHEME

Tavish Scott has given his support to the following motion:

S4M-00398 – Macmillan Cancer Support Scheme

That the Parliament welcomes the new volunteer service provided by Macmillan Cancer Support; notes that the West Dunbartonshire Macmillan Cancer Support scheme provides volunteers to assist people living with cancer by accompanying them to appointments and giving them a hand with their shopping as well as helping them to fill in forms and deal with correspondence; acknowledges the extraordinary dedication shown by all volunteers in this service, and encourages anyone who is interested in volunteering with this service to contact Macmillan Cancer Support.
